When you create a community of women who believe in themselves and each other you create a team of fun and fit women who want to make a difference in this world. We at Go Wow Living have such a team..

Go WOW Living is not only a workout group, per se, yet fitness, lifestyle fitness, is an essential part of our makeup. Inner and outer health and wholeness encompass the Wow Experience and GWL message. Our team is comprised of women committed to living a full, whole, complete life including tangible and intangible aspects through all the decades.

The women listed below are not employees. They are not all wellness coaches in terms of their business titles but they do contribute to the wellness and health of Go Wow Living.

They contribute their time to me and our Go Wow community. They are the backbone of Go Wow Living and, in this small way, I want to express my gratitude and share their wonderful talents with our readers.

Lauren Ganes, certified run coach, has been writing a column for Go WOW Team for several years.

Lauren Ganes – from soccer mom to running coach.

Lauren provides a major segment of organization and inspiration for Go WOW Team – SF Bay  Area. As a mother, teacher, and wife, Lauren was fully dedicated to her family and especially, the activities of her children while they were growing up. Now that they are adults Lauren has delved into exploring her own athleticism and interest in coaching other women.

Lauren’s Marathon Minute offers valuable tips and encouragement to WOW Members and can be viewed on the Go WOW  website.

Recently certified by Road Runners Club of America as a long distance running coach, Lauren has been active and competitive in running and triathlons for the last decade.

Go WOW Living applauds women like Lauren who give freely to their community and also understand how valuable (and satisfying)  it is to explore and grow from inner discovery and physical challenges.

Lizette is a regular contributor to the Go WOW Living Blog. Look for her posts on the Community Column on our home page.

Lizette Militar – Lizette is an avid runner and often finds inspiration running in the early dawn along the San Francisco Bay. She brings with her over 25 years of software product development and management experience and has worked in both small startups and large, global organizations.

Now in the second half of her life, she has stepped out of the corporate world to discover and create Lizette 2.0. In her words, “I have found my love of wisdom rekindled, along with a passionate desire to live a more authentic life, with higher purpose and meaning.”

Anne Olson Business and Life Coach. Go WOW Member
Anne Olson leads fitness walks with Go WOW several days a week.

Anne Olson volunteers her time to Go WOW as a fitness walking leader. She has been with us since 2014 and fits beautifully into our growing group of women wellness coaches.

Anne works professionally with clients as a business and life coach. Through her coursework with the Coaches Training Institute (“CTI”), Anne establishes a co-active relationship in order to effectively guide clients through the hurdles as they arise in their lives.

A few of the tools used include: 1) clarifying values, skills, dreams and purpose; 2) imagining the future that is possible; 3) creation of a plan for the next chapter in the client’s life or business; and 4) accountability for reaching the client’s goals. Anne will ask the questions of her clients that they are hesitant to ask themselves.

Anne is a Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC) and has been accredited through the International Coach Federation (“ICF”) as an Associate Certified Coach (“ACC”).

Anne served from 2008 through 2014 on the ICF Minnesota Board of Directors. This organization represents the inspiring and innovative community of successful coaches committed to professional excellence and making a positive difference in our world.

Anne moved from Minnesota to California in June of 2013 and has continued to pursue her coaching career by continuing to expand her coaching knowledge. Anne has attended modules offered by BEabove Leadership in the training of Neuroscience, Consciousness, and Transformational Coaching.

Elaine Merrill RRCA and USATF Coach
Elaine Merrill, as she says, loves moving! She has completed several marathons and has plans for more in the future. What is keeping you from reaching your goals?

Elaine Merrill, older runner, coach and friend to the velocity-challenged – Elaine Merrill, USATF Level 1 and RRCA-certified running coach, specializes in training and encouraging new runners, older runners, and any potential athletes who want to ramp up their fitness level. She took her first run at the age of 32, and 37 years and 11 marathons later is still going strong. She believes that humans are wired to be active their entire lives, and that and the sheer enjoyment of running or walking at any speed can trump a breakneck pace any day.

Elaine started running with Go WOW in 2015 and also following dietary suggestions outlined in Coach Stephanie Atwood’s Belly Fat Blow-Up books. She is reaping the benefits of her involvement, and encourages all women to eat healthy and to get out the door every day and see what happens!

Sometimes, under the influence of endorphins she posts her thoughts on running and other topics in her blog Running Commentary.

Dr. Michelle Cleere, Psychologist – Best-selling author Dr. Michelle Cleere holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a M.A. in Sports Psychology. An athlete herself, her passion is unlocking the power of the mind so that athletes can have the motivation and confidence to do what they do.

Dr. Michelle has competed in 7 marathons, 4 half marathons and numerous triathlons. As a USAT triathlon coach she’s coached hundreds of athletes to the finish line.

Before obtaining her chiropractic training, Dr. Baird received a B.S. in Engineering from U.C. Berkeley. She also graduated, with top honors, as a certified massage therapist from the National Holistic Institute.

Dr. Sandy Baird, Chiropractor – Dr. Baird specializes in sports injury management and extremity adjusting techniques. A lifelong athlete, Sandy draws on her athletic and academic experience to provide a comfortable and effective treatment experience that best addresses the needs of her patients.

Sandy treats local elite athletes and weekend warriors alike.

Dr. Baird is a certified Active Release Techniques provider, which requires undergoing a rigorous credentialing process that includes in-depth knowledge of muscular skeletal structures in the entire body. She is also certified in Graston Techniques and SpiderTech taping, which have become the gold standard treatment modalities for soft tissue injuries.
