Yes, you are not alone if you think it sounds a bit weird. It is, however, one of the favorite foods of almost everyone who joins our 30 Day Challenge. It is also easy and convenient, can be made the night before, etc. You can drink this on your commute or as a snack at work. Ideally you will drink in the morning as one of your breakfast choices. This smoothie is good for your body!

The recipe is full of healthy macro-nutrients and lots of vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrition elements to keep you satisfied and energized for your busy day.

Before sharing the recipe, I wanted to briefly go over body image. Who doesn’t care about body image? Many of us have been taught that, to be beautiful we must be something that we are not. My brief comments here are to affirm that you are perfect in your body, just as you are!

Not all of us have the same body type yet society has led us to feel that there is something wrong if we are not young, slim, and (even) white. Thank goodness this vision is changing but it sure hasn’t gone away! The majority of us do not fit into this stereotype of “beautiful”.

Our 30 Day Fat Burning Challenge starts from the premise that you are BEAUTIFUL in your body, for who you are! You know better than anyone if you should be taking better care of yourself but, instead of striving for the IMPOSSIBLE, let’s start from reality and REAL BEAUTY – you as a beautiful and unique human being.
